Elizabeth Ann Eckley (Betty) peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in Phoenix, Arizona.  On June 21, 1947, she married Mack Eckley in Williamsport, PA.  She is survived by Mack after 65 years of marriage, and their four daughters, Linda Eckley Sampsel, Gold Canyon, AZ, Patricia DeVier (Jim), Bellefonte, PA, Sandra Helsom (Scott), Phoenix, AZ, and Sharon Hobbs, (Jeff), Bar Harbor, ME.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, James Sampsel and Eric Sampsel of San Diego, CA; Shaun Helsom, Sarah Gortarez of Phoenix, AZ; Jefferson Hobbs, Cambridge, MA, and Crystal Hobbs, Bar Harbor, ME.  She has five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Heather, Lydia and Emmy.  Betty was born and raised in Bellefonte, PA and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.  She attended St. John's Catholic school and graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1943.  She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of America.  Betty was employed as the Executive Secretary to the Plant Manager of Corning Glass for 15 years until her retirement in 1981.  She and Mack moved to Phoenix Arizona permanently in 1989.   Betty loved the beach, especially Rehoboth Beach and Sea Isle City.  She also loved all animals, especially her various "grandcats" and "granddogs!"  She is greatly missed!
